Now I get It...

About 11 years ago I worked at UPS. This was a very loose place to work. There were things said and screamed that I would be embarrassed to repeat. Where I was at the time I kind of joined in. In the corner there was always this one guy I remember. He was a devout Christian and he never joined in. In fact I could see the shame in his eyes when someone would say something that was offensive. He would always talk about God and he was always ridiculed about it. Being called a bible thumper or holy roller all the time has to get old right? Wrong. Being called these works only fueled his fire for the Lord. He was always the same. He prayed. He tried to give advice and he loved. For this I will never forget him. My faith has come along way...not where I want it....but further than it used to be. I can feel the holy spirit inside me jump for joy when someone praises God or simply loves him. Oh how the tides have turned. I am now the one in the corner that everyone knows is a holy roller. I get teased about it quite a bit. Being called "super religious" or other words is fine with me. This usually confirms to me that I have a projected a certain thing and I am proud. The bible says that "those who choose the righteous path will be ridiculed." I get it now.
